The Wind Wildlife Research Meeting XI Proceedings mark 22 years of progress in wind/wildlife research.

Since NWCC convened the first wind/avian research meeting in 1994, experts from the wind and wildlife stakeholder community have come together at biennial meetings to identify research questions, advance methods and metrics for synthesis of information across sites, analyze research results, and prioritize future issues.

The Wind Wildlife Research Meeting XI Proceedings address a range of topics pertaining to wind energy and wildlife impacts and present current research into innovations in technologies and methods to address these impacts. With a focus on detection and deterrent technologies these Proceedings document progress being made to minimize impacts in a meaningful way.
