Transmission:
The transmission workgroup is hard at work, following up from the recent Transmission Workshop in the SPP region in Little Rock, and planning a meeting on February 1-2, 2005 in Sacramento, CA to discuss transmission issues in the West. The Transmission Working Group is also engaging with the Midwest to plan a workshop in the Spring of 2005. Finally, four transmission siting case studies are planned to be completed before the end of this year. These case studies will examine the lessons learned from transmission system expansions that benefited wind in Colorado, Minnesota, California, and Texas. |
