A new Grassland Shrub Steppe Species (GS3C) Sage Grouse Research Collaborative (Collaborative) has recently been formed under the National Wind Coordinating Collaborative Wildlife Workgroup’s Grassland Shrub Steppe Species Subgroup to conduct research on potential wind energy impacts to sage grouse. The Collaborative is working in coordination with the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.
