The NWCC Transmission Workgroup advances the national dialogue on current transmission issues, increasing stakeholder understanding of the obstacles to transmission expansion and integration of wind power, and catalyzing activities to address these obstacles.

The Workgroup aims to balance the issues and concerns of transmission providers and consumers, while providing decision and policy makers with technical information on regional planning, collaboration and coordination, integration, siting, and cost allocation and recovery.
