The NWCC carries out its activities through Workgroups comprised of interested parties with appropriate expertise. In addition to currently active workgroups focused on Transmission and Wildlife issues, NWCC hosts periodic seminars on technical siting issues, and makes available issue briefs and other material produced by past workgroups: Click here for past workgroup materials and publications

NWCC regularly considers whom to involve, and reaches out to engage stakeholders and experts in Workgroup activities. NWCC collaborates with other member organizations – such as the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Western Governors’ Association, and the American Wind Energy Association, among many others -- to host conferences, workshops, forums, webcasts, and research meetings that bring stakeholders together to share the latest and most relevant information, define challenges, explore solutions, articulate priorities, and advance the common agenda.
