This dialogue is organized in collaboration with the American Wind Energy Association, DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, National Hydropower Association, Midwest Governors’ Association and others and will provide participants with the opportunity to review current federal, regional, and state transmission policy. The forum’s intent is to engage a smaller (40-60), participant audience in a focused dialogue about inter and intra-regional opportunities and challenges to integrate renewables on to the grid. As with other NWCC events, we hope these strategic discussions will lead to actions each stakeholder and the NWCC can carry forward.
