This 6th national wildlife meeting will bring participants
up-to-date on research being conducted to understand the interaction of
birds, bats, and other wildlife with wind energy development; look at what
we’ve learned about ways to minimize or mitigate wind energy’s impacts on
wildlife; and identify gaps in knowledge and research needs. The meeting
will be held November 14 – 15. On November 16 the Wildlife Workgroup Core
Group will meet to discuss workgroup updates and activities.
