Midwest Wind & Transmission Workshop VI

The NWCC will convene its sixth Midwest Transmission Workshop on December 4-5, 2006. The Midwest has been a leader in transmission planning for wind energy and this meeting is an opportunity to discuss progress to date, as well as items that remain to be addressed. Updates on regional and state transmission activities and panels with utility leaders, transmission authorities, utility commissioners, and legislators to discuss policy drivers for transmission are planned.

NWCC is pleased to announce FERC Commissioner Suedeen Kelly will deliver a keynote address at this workshop.
