all interested parties
Day 2:
July 2, 2003 is for government personnel only
OBJECTIVES
OBJECTIVE: To provide a forum for the free
and open exchange of views on offshore wind development, and to identify
questions, research, technology, legal and process concerns that need to be
addressed
GROUNDRULES
- The meeting is without prejudice.
To encourage open, honest, and creative dialogue in the best spirit of
debate, all participants agree that views and statements made in the
meeting will not be used in anyway to discredit, defame, or attack them in
or after the meeting.
- Participants will communicate with
mutual respect. Only one person will speak at a time as called upon by
the facilitator. Participants will refrain from personal attacks. Each
person will express his or her own views rather than speaking for others
at the table and not attribute motives to others.
- Participants will seek understanding
rather than imputing motives or attributes to others.
- Each person is encouraged to generate
options and ideas without commitment.
- Each person will seek to identify areas
of common ground where possible, without glossing over or minimizing
legitimate disagreements.
- The NWCC staff will prepare a meeting
summary without attribution. Meeting summaries, capturing key ideas
and issues will be prepared in draft, reviewed for accuracy, and then
distributed to all parties at the same time for comment. The summaries
will then be finalized by the facilitator, with all errors and omissions
remaining the sole responsibility of the facilitators. The final summary
will be distributed to all participants and loaded to the NWCC website.
