CWE 2013: Effects on human interests, wildlife, and nature
Future wind power development faces many challenges. We invite experts and stakeholders to share their experience on the environmental impacts of wind energy. A sound knowledge base concerning these impacts and their mitigation is needed. This conference will present recent Swedish and international research and practice in the field.
CWE 2013 is managed by the Swedish research programme Vindval. The programme is funded by Swedish Environmental Agency and Swedish Energy Agency. Vindval contains a total of about 30 individual research projects and four comprehensive syntheses.
The conference will have its focus within the following main topics:
- Wildlife
- Reindeer and livestock
- Human perceptions
- Policy and planning
