Wind Energy and Economic Development Workshop

March 15, 2001 - Workshop
March 16, 2001 - Work Group Meeting
Holiday Inn Metrodome
Minneapolis, Minnesota

The purpose of the workshop is to develop a better understanding of what makes an "excellent economic development assessment study" and what criteria should be applied when reviewing a study. Participants will learn about the variety of studies being conducted around the country where a wind development project is proposed or completed.

The March 15 workshop participants will include experts in economic development studies, users of these studies, as well as local, regional, and state economic development officials.

The workshop will start with panel presentations from those listed on the agenda who have conducted or plan to conduct a study and be followed by a facilitated roundtable discussion.

If you're interested in participating please contact Philip Chou at 202/965-6214 or pchou@resolv.org.
